Learn to Sail
Kids new to sailing will commence in Tackers 1 and will progress through the programs based on building competency in the foundation sailing skills. Assessments are undertaken by their instructor, in discussion with the lead of our club Junior Sailing programs.
To participate in our junior programs, participants must be MMYC members. Two types of membership are available:
• Annual Membership. Participants could be on a Family membership, or have a Junior membership in their name.
• A Temporary Membership (SailPass) for the participant for the purpose of learning to sail. This provides access to the club during sail training sessions. Immediate family may also attend.
Information, frequently asked questions, and resources are in our Handbook for new Junior and Youth Families. Download Handbook
