MMYC Junior Coaching 

We encourage junior sailors who have learnt the core competency skills in our Learn to Sail 2 and Tackers 3 programs to join the Junior Coaching program while they progress through Learn to Sail Program 3, Better Sailing and onto Start & Better Racing.

Note:  MMYC Friday night Junior Coaching is different from our Learn to Sail Programs.

1. Sailors must have completed Learn to Sail 2 or Tackers 3. 
Remember this is not a Learn to Sail program
Once junior sailors have progressed through Learn to Sail 2 or Tackers 3 and learnt the core sailing skills, the coaching program provides them with support and supervised time on the water while they continue to improve general sailing techniques, develop solid boat handling skills and gain and an introduction to racing techniques.

2. Sailors have their own boat.

3. Regular coaching.
Coaching sessions are held every Friday night from January until the end of March.
This is a continuous program and you must book to attend the 11- week coaching program.

Boats to be rigged and ready to sail from 5.30 pm to 7 pm
