The Dolphin Research Institute is running a series of free presentations over the summer that focus on cetaceans - whales and dolphins – that occur in our local waters. The presentations are aimed at encouraging members of marine-based organisations to report their cetacean sightings to our citizen science project, the Two Bays Whale (and dolphin) Project.
The presentation will clarify the features that can be used to identify specific cetacean species and explain the requirements of a robust report to help ensure that the sighting is a valued contribution. Importantly, we will explain where you can contribute your sightings and how they can help cetaceans in or local waters.
