Series Registration 2017/18

Series Registration with the Top Yacht Entry System – TES -  for the coming season 17-18 is now available from the Link below.
Once again you can register for as many Series as you wish just once which is the preferred option.
PLEASE NOTE that the Sailing Instructions now require sailors to be registered for a Series 2 hours before race start, ie by 12noon for a 2pm start and by 4.30pm for a 6.30pm start. If not registered, sailors will not be able to Sign On on the iPad and will not receive a result for that day. So register now, preferably for everything, and you will not need to do it again.

Open the link :-

Screen 1 :-  Multi Series Select.  – press ENTER   ( Do not select any Series on this screen unless you only wish to sail in one series)

Screen 2 :-  Log In as indicated.

Screen 3 :-  Multi Series Select  & Details Screen. Check that all your details are correct. Change as necessary.  NB at Mt Martha we use your Last Name as the Boat Name to facilitate on water identification.

Select all the Series that you wish to enter.  It does not matter if you then fail to sail in a particular series.

NB- Use your mobile number if unsure of Yachting Australia No

Accept Terms and Conditions at the bottom and Save Changes.   An acknowledgement will appear next to Save Changes. Press Home and you can then check your entry at View List if you wish.

You are now registered for all the series you have selected.  There will be no need to register again but you can edit your entry at any time.

As previously,  you can change your rig configuration within a Series and be treated as one competitor  eg Laser radial/4.7,  Taipan Cat/Sloop. You can do so without editing your TES entry.  You are required however to complete the appropriate form at the Club prior to ONE hour before the first warning signal as per the Sailing Instructions.  This will need to be done each time you sail a different configuration from that listed on the iPad.  You will not be considered for Handicap results under these circumstances.

ALSO  if at a later date you cannot recall whether you entered a particular series, just go to the Registration Link and click on View Entrants and choose the Series. You will see a list of entrants.

ALSO if perchance the above link does not work for you (as has happened to some before) go to the link on the MMYC website. That works fine.

Club Purchases 2x Flying 11's

f11 a  f11 b  f11 c

MMYC has purchased two Flying 11s to provide a transition boat between training classes of Optis, Bics and Minnows, and Youth classes like the 420, Laser 4.7 and 29er.

For the average junior sailor the jump between Training and Youth classes is too large and it’s difficult for them to handle the larger boats, which means they don’t get the fun that they should out of sailing.

Have a look at this video to get an understanding of what they offer, The Flying11 - The Best Youth Sailing Boat in the World! and the check out the number of girls sailing them too.
